Which way to Tullyallen off the M1 please?
AN EXCELLENT point raised by Carmel Boyle who runs the An Croi centre in Tullyallen.
She asks why is the village not indicated on the signposts on the roundabout coming off the M1?
As you leave the M1 junction, you’ll see Drogheda and Slane turnoffs and then there’s one for ‘Collon and Old Mellifont Abbey’ but not a mention of Tullyallen!
It has caught out visitors to the area who are keeping an eye out for Tullyallen but when they don’t see it, wonder what direction it’s in!
Maybe the council or TII could get a Tullyallen sign added to the signpost.
