A story from 1953: Michael Leech (8) defeated his brother Joseph (12) from Beechgrove Terrace, to win the Glenview Pitch and Putt Boys under 14 championship. Another brother, Liam, won the Healy Cup, beating another brother, Paddy, who had won it the previous year.
