Bettystown badminton club win junior section

MARCH 1970: The Bettystown Badminton A team, which gained promotion in the Dublin League last year, ended the season on a high note when they defeated Jacobs in the final of the junior section A. The star of this Bettystown team, each of whom played remarkably well was Miss Pamela FitzGerald, who came on for the injured Miss Pat Webb and played a “blinder” in both her games. The winning team was M/s. J. Reilly, T. Regan, D. McDonough and D. Black, Mrs. A. Regan Misses M. McDonough, P. Fitz- Gerald and M. Callan.
