RUTHLESS ROCHE HIT SIX OF THE BEST
Roche Em 6-15 McDermott’s 2-7
Roche immediately cancelled that out as Evin Quigley came off the bench to fire past McEneaney - 6-10 to 1-5.
Danielle O’Connell then got in on the scoring act and Dawe pointed before another of the subs, Niall McArdle, saw two point efforts come back off the upright and O’Hare converted another free.
Seans continued to go for goals and finally made another chance count when Osbourne sent a piledriver into the net, off the underside of the crossbar.
Roche had long since taken their foot off the gas at this stage and the remaining four points were shared as Carthy and O’Hare added to their tallies and O’Neill and Kevin McMahon replied for the Seans.
The winners would have wished for a much sterner examination going into the semi-finals, but on this showing they must be regarded as strong contenders to return to the Intermediate grade.
