Indigo artists exhibition

-

THE grand opening of the Indigo Artists exhibition will take place at Listoke House on the Ballymakenny Road on Friday, August 18th.

The group has been working hard over the past number of months creating new pieces for the show and the culmination of all their hard work will be unveiled at the opening next Friday.

The exhibition will take place in the gallery space at the back of the house beside the popular Gin school.

The Indigo art group was started in Drogheda more than 15 years ago and features 18 local artists.

‘It’s all new stuff, we’ve all been working hard on new pieces for it for the past few months,’ said Maureen Peakin from the group.

‘We’re really looking forward to showcasing our work and inviting the public to come along and see it for themselves.’

The exhibition at Listoke Hose will run until September 15th and is free to attend.

People can come along to the exhibition, stroll around the gardens and visit the coffee shop onsite, which is open weekly on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
