-

ARDEE Community School is celebrating another great set of Leaving Cert results, with Collon teenager Conor Myers one of 22 in the country to achieve top marks.

He now hopes to go on to study medicine at Trinity College.

His achievements were the icing on the cake for principal Mary Jackson who applauded the combined efforts of students and staff over the past number of years.

‘We are delighted for all the students who did so well last week. We wish them all the best in the years ahead.’

She described Conor as a ‘great, harding working young man’ and said he was even surprised when he opened the envelope to check his final results.
