Boomerang presently enrolling for ESLO award programmes
BOOMERANG Youth Service & Café in conjunction with LMETB is currently enrolling for their QQI Level 4 Education Skills Learning Opportunities (ESLO) Major Award Programmes in General Learning and Culinary Skills.
The General Learning programme offers learners the opportunity to gain qualifications in the following: Communication; Teamwork; Preparation for work, Maths; Fitness & Sport; I.T; Digital Media Technology; Personal Development; Entrepreneurship and Leadership.
While the Culinary Skills programme offers the learners the opportunity to gain qualifications the following: Meal Service, Short order cooking, Kitchen Skills, Customer Service, HACCP and Preparation for work.
The young people will also have an opportunity to get involved in a variety of life skills based workshops which supports their holistic development.
To qualify for this project you need to be an early school leaver, aged between 16 – 25 years. There are only sixteen places, eight on each programme.
