Samaritans seeking local volunteers

DROGHEDA & North East Branch of Samaritans has announced details of its latest recruitment drive for volunteers.

The branch, which serves counties Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan, is inviting prospective volunteers to attend either of two information sessions – Tuesday, August 22 at 7.30pm or Saturday, August 26 at 11am - in the centre at Leland Place, Stockwell Street, Drogheda.

Members of the Samaritans team will present a talk and provide information on how one can become a volunteer and help with the branch’s vital work in the community.
