AIB hosts business showcase event over three days this week

BACKING business is very much the theme of a three-day event taking place at the AIB on Dyer Street this week.

On Wednesday August 23rd, 24th and 25th, the bank will become home to various locals businesses that have been supported to set up on their own.

Organisers see it as very much of a promoting the best of Drogheda and its hinterland occasion.

On Wednesday August 23rd, 10am to 3.30pm, it will be the turn of Drogheda’s artists to show off their wares with an array of stalls set up.

On Thursday, it’s the turn of the food providers to have their moment. On Friday, it’s a chance to promote wellness and everything that comes with it.

The business showcasing days will also see some treats handed out and will very much be an eye-opener to what can be done by those who want to take on the challenge of starting their own business.

There will be face painters, fun for kids and one or two surprises during the three days.

All are welcome to drop in and have a look at the firms and their stalls.
