Sonairte open for bee museum

SONAIRTE, The National Ecology Centre in Laytown, is hosting a major day on Sunday August 27th to mark Heritage Week.

From 3pm - 4:30pm, visitors are invited to see the bee museum and enjoy a beekeepers talk and demonstrations

‘Join us for a guided walking tour with ecologist Ger Clarke and learn more about the importance of our ecology and our local biodiversity,’ a spokesperson stated.

The centre has a huge amount of attractions for people of all ages and that includes a nature walk area by the banks of the Nanny and spectacular views of the area.

There is also a cafe on site and all are welcome.
