Major Boylan wins cross country at Badminton

When Major E. T. Boylan arrived home at Hilltown, Drogheda, after his great triumph In the three-day horse trials at Badminton, he was given a tremendous reception by his friends, neighbours and members of the staff of the Hilltown Estate.

Flags and buntings decorated the entrance to his home and there were scenes of great rejoicing when Major Boylan arrived with the coveted trophy which was presented to him by Queen Elizabeth.
