Drogheda sign keeper Tony Swan
THE close season is terminating and as far as Drogheda F.C. is concerned the players will set the ball rolling and herald in the 1967-68 season on Sunday when a public trial game takes place in the Lourdes Stadium—the proceeds of which will be donated to the Stadium Fund.
With the signing of Tony Swan, amateur international goalkeeper, from Bohemians, Noel Ennis, utility player from St. Patricks Athletic, Ray Keogh (Cork Hibs) and latest newcomer Brendan Dixon, inside or centre forward, from Home Farm, the playing strength of the club has improved considerably.
