Fit Kids/Fit Teens off to Dance event

-

THIS Thursday over a hundred Dancers and Supporters from the Fit Kids/Fit Teens Dance School will travel to Glasgow to proudly represent Ireland in The World Street Dance Championships 2017.

After an unprecedented number from the School qualified back in April, the youngsters have been practicing hard and perfecting their skills in Break Dance, Poppin, Lockin, House, Krump, New Skool and Reggae as they take on Japan, Canada, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, USA, UK and many other countries in the Crews, Solos, Duos, Quads and Battles sections.

Although Fit Kids/Fit Teens has represented Ireland at many international events, this is the largest group to fly the flag at the four day competition. ‘ There will be great excitement at Dublin Airport on Thursday,’ said Fit Kids/Fit Teens Director Jacinta Cassidy.

‘ The children have been practicing the national anthem in case they are triumphant and end up on the podium. No matter what happens, it will be a wonderful experience for them. The pride of representing your country and the international friends that you make will last a lifetime,’ she added. Jacinta would like to thank all the wonderful Parents, Dancers, Crew Coaches - Shauna Browning, Niamh Mullarkey, Onai Tafuma, Rachel Murphy, Donna Moran, Jamie Boylan, Casey Ronan, Jordan Nguyen, Sly Sode, Tara Wade for all their support in making the trip happen.
