THE club has its annual fund-raising Golf Classic taking place in Ballymasca­nlon this Saturday. The format is a three-person scramble and the cost per team is €130. Some places and sponsorshi­p are still available from Gerard Roe on 087-6956922.

Also, anyone who can help out on the day is asked to attend an organising meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 9.15pm in the clubhouse.

Numbers drawn in last Tuesday’s lotto were 20, 23, 26, 28 and the €25 winners were Rose Agnew, Doylesfort Grove; Dolores Hoey, c/o Pat Rogers; Owen Gribben (c/o self) and and Heli Conlon (c/o Dixie Quinn). Tonight’s jackpot stands at €7,400.

Our Division 6 team face O’Connell’s tonight, Tuyesday at 7.15pm in The Grove. The Division 3 team face Naomh Mairtin on Saturday evening in Ballybaili­e.

Our 6K Run / Walk takes place this Sunday and Mauretta is doing special training this week, so do come along on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7pm.
