DUNLEER SOCIETY

THE Society played at Ardee GC last Saturday week to compete for the Shearman’s Trophy, sponsored by Alan Shearman. It was therefore fitting that the overall winner - with 39 points - was Vinnie Shearman, whom appears to get better as he matures with age. Vinnie was presented with his prize that evening by Alan.

The other results were as follows: Cat 1 winner Pat Lynch 36pts ob9, 2nd Ciaran Reynolds 36pts, 3rd Gary Croghan 31pts; Cat 2 winner Ken Brady 31pts, 2nd Paul Flanagan 29pts ob9, 3rd Martin Sheridan. Longest drive and Nearest the pin Ciaran Reynolds. Twos: Ciaran Reynolds and Gary Broughton.

The next outing is at Concra Wood this coming Saturday from 11am and this will be sponsored by Wogan’s of Dunleer.
