Slane Cycle for charity

Navan Road Club will hold their annual 3 - County Cycle for the ARC Cancer Support Centre on Saturday 2nd September.

The spin will start at 10am from The Village Inn in Slane, and some of the areas taken in will be Lobinstown, Drumconrath, Tallanstown, Ardee and Woodtown.

Along the way cyclist will place a wreath at the spot just outside Drumconrath where their good friend and cycling colleague Paul Healion tragically lost his life in a road accident.

At Woodtown the group break for refreshments in Donoghues Bar, where Maria O Connell who is a great supporter of the ARC Centre will have a warm welcome.
