Celebratin­g in style

A fantastic night was had by all who joined John Collins for his 40th birthday celebratio­ns in The Pheasant recently.

John, who is originally from Skerries but has been living in Drogheda for more than 20 years, was joined at the party by family members including his wife Orla, his Mam Geraldine Collins, sisters Jessica and Aimeé and his Nannie Anne Collins.

Children Saoirse (6) and Dáithí (3) helped to decorate the room during the day but were safely tucked up in bed on the night of the party.

Also there to help him celebrate were his aunts, uncles and cousins from Bettystown, old neighbours from Skerries, is mother-in-law Patricia Woods from Pilton and brothers-in-law Martin, Nigel and Eoin and their respective partners as well as friends from Drogheda, Dundalk and Rush.

‘It was a fantastic night, everyone really enjoyed it and lots of people there hadn’t seen each other in years so it was great to catch up,’ said John who works in the Financial Services sector in Dublin.
