Sister Constantia worked in Drogheda
SISTER Constantia was born
Brigid Faul in Mullacrew, Louth,
Ireland in 1933 and joined MMM in 1952.
After profession she worked in the laundry in Drogheda for five years. She then trained as a radiographer, qualifying in 1963. After working in the IMTH in Drogheda for two years, she spent 18 months in Tanzania as a radiographer before assignment to Malawi in 1967.
She served there for most of the next 35 years. She worked as a radiographer, administrator and local and area bursar. She also served in MMM leadership for almost ten years.
Sister Constantia returned to Ireland in 2002 and helped with general duties in the Motherhouse.
Ill health necessitated regular nursing care and she moved to Aras Mhuire in 2015. She died there peacefully on 21 August 2017.
