THE Louth branch of Network Ireland are set to welcome Dragons Den Pitch Coach, Catherine Moonan to the D Hotel in Drogheda on September 26th.

During her time with the TV series, Catherine has successfully coached over 500 contestants and helped them to secure over €5 million investment.

The evening event will see Catherine facilitate a bespoke workshop to enable all attendees to prepare and deliver a 60-Second Pitch and in business a lot can happen in 60secs!

By focussing on three main areas – Audience, Content and Delivery, Catherine helps participants to research their target audience and to tailor their pitch to that particular audience. Incorporating brainstorming and mindfulness techniques Catherine will help create an easy to remember business story, your business story.

Catherine also demonstrates the importance of delivery and body language - after all, it’s not necessarily what you say that matters, it’s how you say it!

‘Ask yourself ‘ how would I describe my job or business? asks Network Louth President, Regina Behan, ‘ and can you do it in 60 seconds?’

‘In today’s business world, time is valuable commodity, so having a succinct and solid pitch that clearly explains your business is crucial’, continues Regina.

‘At Network Louth, we constantly encourage our members to promote their businesses and to network within business communities.

‘A chance meeting with a potential investor or new customer could be just around the corner – you have to be pitch ready at a moment’s notice and remember, you won’t get a second chance to make a first impression’.

Tickets for this event are on sale through Eventbrite and are free for Network Ireland Members. Non-member tickets are €20 but you can avail of a €10 Early Bird Rate for a limited time.
