CONGRATULATIONS to the Louth senior team, runners-up in the National Inter-County held in Ryston last weekend. They performed excellently and were only pipped at the post by Cork.
Results from recent juvenile competitions: August 28th - 1st Luke Murphy, 2nd Josh Murtagh; August 21st - 1st James Stewart, 2nd Eoin Murphy.
The final of the Club Mixed Doubles competition between Molly Penders & Pat Greene and Christine Carroll & Frank Penders takes place today (Tuesday) at 2.30pm. If you can, please come out and support what promises to be a very exciting match.
The final of the Club Doubles between Gerry Breen snr & Gerry Breen jnr and Johnny Campbell snr & Colin Campbell will take place shortly.
Congratulations to Ann Ward on finishing as runner-up in the Louth Down Monaghan Matchplay in Cloghogue recently.
The Captains’ Prize will take place this coming Sunday, with a shotgun start at 9.30 and breakfast beforehand. Please support this event and make it a day to remember for Captains Ann Ward and Barry McQuillan.
The Seapoint Masters, sponsored by David Carroll of Seapoint Golf Club, will take place on Sunday September 24th and the entry sheet (for mixed and non-mixed entries) is on the noticeboard.
Well done to the Louth team who came third in The National Inter-County Senior competition, which took place last weekend in Ryston.
