SCHOOL BUS PROTEST

It seems that the temporary solution to the Grangegeeth School Bus saga does not satisfy all the children and parents concerned. All Community Members should acquaint themselves with the situation, and exert what influence they can to support the children and their parents to achieve a permanent solution to the problem. The children of the state deserve better, they are the future after all!

COMMUNITY ALERT

It’s that time of year again, short daylight hours and long dark evenings and nights. Please call on elderly relatives and neighbours, especially those living alone. See that they have all their needs, food, heat, light and fuel for fires and anything else that they may need. It is often difficult for the elderly to get out and about to get shopping at this time of year, you may be able to help out in this regard. Above all, keep an eye out for those who use the cover of darkness to perpetrate crime, be extra vigilant, as the work of Criminals never ceases, as we know only too well in this District. Please make community Alert a priority in the months ahead.
