Clogherhead church incident forces closure

THE decision has been taken to close Clogherhead church when not in use.

It follows a series of incidents where damage has been caused to the inside of the church, the latest being the sixth attack this year.

The Church authorities have asked people to contact Gardai if they can assist with tracing the culprits.
