Termonfeckin is just wonderful location

THE WORK done by those in the tidy towns group in Termonfeckin just cannot be underestimated.

I did a ‘sweep’ of the village recently and it has the potential to be a major winner in the national awards – all being fair.

The big thing I found – or didn’t find – was litter and to term the place immaculate would not do it justice.

One feature that stands out is around the old bridge into the village. For too long it was an eyesore and a danger, but efforts in recent years has also transformed it.

And how it’s maintained is incredible.

The willow, the flower beds, the rustic feel, I think if a poet headed out here for a day or two they’d find some great inspiration.

And as for the efforts around the shop and garage – magnificent as usual.
