LOTTO

The Lotto draw takes place every Thursday night during the interval at the Bingo in St. Kevin’s Community Centre . All envelopes must be in by 9pm on the night of draw.

The jackpot amount for this week will be €7300.Last week’s numbers were 7-10-19-22 . No jackpot winner. Congratula­tions to this week’s €50 winners, Mary Hughes and Geraldine Pentony .

ST. KEVIN’S BINGO

Bingo takes place every Thursday in St. Kevin’s Community Centre and starts at 8pm sharp, there are shop facilities and compliment­ary tea/coffee at the interval.

A bus leaves Monasterbo­ice at 7:15 and then from Pat’s Gift Shop Dunleer at 7:30.

Bingo jackpot is climbing nicely and is currently at €8000

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

The parent and toddler group is still running in St Kevin’s Community Centre each Wednesday morning at the earlier time of 10:30 until 12pm. All welcome along with your little ones. This is a very relaxed group and a great way for both parents and kiddies to mingle. Why not drop in for a chat and a cuppa while your little treasures have a play.

MEN’S SHED

Great news for all men out there!. Mid-Louth Men’s Shed Group will be available to any men who would like to join. The group will meet each Wednesday morning at St Kevin’s Community Centre Philipstow­n, from 10:30 am -12 :30pm.

ORIEL YOGA

Aisling is back with her ever popular yoga classes at St Kevin’s Community Centre. Yoga recommence­s on Monday ,September 11th For further details you can contact the community centre on 041-6862580 or check out the facebook page. Aisling is currently offering a 10 class pass for€90 which has no time limit, single classes are €12 with a reduced rate for a second class within the same week at €6.

CHILDREN’S YOGA

Oriel Yoga are going to hold classes for children starting on October 2nd in St Kevin’s Community Centre .There are many benefits for children who practise yoga such as strength, muscle tone, flexibilit­y, concentrat­ion, breath control ,confidence and much more. IRISH DANCING

Dance classes have resumed at St Kevin’s Community Centre, each Wednesday at 5pm. For further enquiries contact 0862092468.

POTTERY CLASSES

A new term of evening pottery classes begins in The Market House, Dunleer on Monday September 18th from 7-9pm. Enjoy the creative process of making art and pottery through hand-building with clay.These classes proved very popular previously , be sure to book early to avoid missing out. Also Roisin has decided to hold some evening classes in St Kevin’s Community Centre, Philipstow­n, theses will begin on Tuesday October 3rd from 7-9pm. The very popular Brickx Club is available to anyone who wishes to participat­e in St Kevin’s Community Centre. Booking is essential ,you can contact Teresa on 086-3212986 for all the details. This is a creative and social activity suitable for boys and girls.

TRIP TO CROKER

Last week’s trip to Croke Park was an amazing day out for young and old as all ages hopped on buses and made their way to the big smoke. Fun was had and knowledge gained as everyone experience­d an insightful tour of the pitch, grounds, museum etc followed by lunch. Well done to those involved as everyone arrived back in Philipstow­n with smiles from ear to ear.
