CARDIAC CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

Duleek Cardiac First Response Group annual church gate collection will take place in Duleek & Bellewstow­n next weekend, the 30th September & 1st October. Your support helps us provide a voluntary cardiac emergency service to the community.

COFFEE MORNING THANKS

Thank you to all who attended the Bellewstow­n Coffee Morning for the Hospice with your kind donations we raised €783 this goes directly to East Meath Hospice-also thank you to the ladies who stepped in to pour all the coffee and to all who donated to raffle, we look forward to welcoming you again next year.

The Presidents Prize will take place this Sunday 1st October with tee off from 11a.m.

Fred Hoey Memorial Competitio­n; Played on Saturday 16th in rather wet conditions that did not deter the players. The winners were Wally Sheridan & Frank Andrews. Runners up were Colm Hanley & Richard Brennan. Best 18n was won by Ian Farrelly & Tommy Arnold. A good weekend for the club when Marie & Richard Brennan won the Meath Mixed foursomes at the Royal Meath club; Wally Sheridan and his partner Catherine McCreevy (Navan) won the 36gross and Ian Farrelly won the Best 18 at the Lough Owel Scratch Cup.
