Irish Poetry conference at Ardgillan Castle
THE Irish Poetry Therapy Network (IPTN) is holding its 6th Annual Conference in Ardgillan Castle, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. Poetry therapy uses poetry and other creative arts for self-discovery and personal development.
In a safe and confidential space, qualified Poetry Therapy Practitioners Carol Boland, Suzanne Power and Ger Campbell, facilitate a process of self-discovery through the use of selected poems and various prompts.

NATIONAL brass band champions of Ireland for eight of the last 10 years, Drogheda Brass Band is delighted to announce it is recruiting for a class of beginners.

LOUTH Branch of Arthritis Ireland host Seated Exercise class every Monday at 7pm in Ballsgrove Community Centre. Aqua Aerobics every Tuesday at 8pm and Thursday at 12pm in Energie Fitness Centre.

St Francis day
THE Secular Franciscans will celebrate the feast day of St Francis of Assisi in the Augustinian Church on Wednesday October 4th at 7.30pm.
A special blessing of the sick and veneration of the relic of St Francis will also take place on the night.
