COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDER.

If you are interested in helping your community by becoming a responder, just learning CPR then please come along to the Monasterboice Inn on the 16th October @ 8pm where the Tenure Community First Responders will be holding an information and recruitment night.

A Community First Responder is a member of the public who volunteers to help their community by responding to medical emergencies while the ambulance is on its way. They are then able to provide an early intervention in situations such as a heart attack or cardiac arrest or chocking or stroke before the National Ambulance Service crew arrives. The Responder’s role is to deliver an emergency and urgent care response for their communities. We are also planning to purchase and locate AED’s in public locations in the community.

To register as a volunteer, please bring along on the night a valid I.D. (Passport/Driving License) and Proof of Address (Utility bill dated within last six months).

Further information can be obtained by ringing Fintan on 086-8519518 or Feargal on 0872232087, emailing tenurecfr@ gmail.com or by visiting us on Facebook Tenure Community First Responders Group or twitter @TenureCFRGroup
