Cord Road to close to traffic for four weeks

ACCESS to Constitution Hill and Francis Street from the Cord Road will not be possible for the next four weeks to facilitate water pipe works.

Part of the road has already been closed for weeks and the next phase of the project will see the section between Oulster’s Lane and Constitution Hill/Francis Street shut off.

The works are expected to take approx. 4 weeks to complete along this section.

Traffic diversions will be in place and motorists are advised that traffic coming down Oulster’s Lane will be diverted left onto Cord Road, which will operate temporarily as a two way traffic flow up to Sandyford Terrace.
