Julianstown tidy towns seeking volunteers

-

THE Julianstown Tidy Towns committee is looking for volunteers to help keep Julianstown tidy.

‘We always have regular activities planned and would encourage a large village participation. Volunteering with Julianstown Tidy Towns gives you the opportunity to get out and about and feel involved in the community, to make new friends and to have a say in how Julianstown should look,’ a spokesperson stated.

‘Getting involved in Tidy Towns involves much more than picking up litter and weeding (although these are very important!). It can mean putting on community events such as the Summer Fetival, Heritage Day, Halloween and Santa in the Lime Kiln, landscaping, or engaging with schools and businesses about minimising waste.

‘ Whatever your interest, there’s a need for your time and expertise! To express your interest in joining, simply contact us on www. juliantowncommunity.com or our Facebook Page. Juliantown Tidy Towns or simply call into the Village Garden any Saturday morning from 10.30 am an you’ll find a great bunch of people doing their bit for Julianstown.’

Don’t forget to keep the 31st October free for the Halloween Party in the Village Garden which starts at 6.30 p.m. Fancy Dress is a must and there will be lots of fun games for the children , with food and light refreshments. Admission:
