Rosevale taken in charge by Meath Co Council

-

25 houses in the Rosevale estate have been taken in charge by Meath County Council after a three year process.

However, the roads and services within the development have not been completed to the required standard and the council now intends use the sureties held against the Shannon Homes development and other sources to carry out works within the development in line with protocols. A series of proposals have been put in place and they include new gullies and remedial works on manholes.

They will be replacing paths and kerbs and will trim back all over hanging trees to public paths and walkways.

The grass verges will be raised up level with kerbs and paths.

They also intend testing all public lighting.

The storm and sewer lines will be cleaned and a CCTV survey taken and furnished to Meath CC.

A number of signs are also to be erected including YIELD and STOP signs and lines within the estate and a STOP sign at the entrance.

A new name stone will also be put up at the front of the estate, along with a new numbering scheme.

Fire hydrants will also be replaced and installed.
