Martin celebrates 20 years at Specsavers

MARTIN VICTORY, a leading optometrist at Specsavers Drogheda, recently celebrated 20 years of looking after the vision of the local people.

Martin, who has been an integral part of the Specsavers Drogheda team for two decades was recently presented with a certificate of long service, a bottle of whiskey and a beautifully decorated cake from Specsavers Drogheda store partners Kerril Hickey, Fiona O’Donnell and David McCloskey.

Speaking of the occasion, store partner Fiona O’Donnell commented: ‘We would like to thank Martin for his dedicated service over the past 20 years. He has built some fantastic relationships with our local customers and helped generations of families with their eyecare needs since he started in 1997.

‘At Specsavers, we place a strong emphasis on continued professional development and we believe that Martin’s long-standing service at the store is true reflection of this.’

Martin, who has found it a pleasure to work at Specsavers Drogheda for the past 20 years, said: ‘I have always felt supported, both professionally and personally throughout my time here at Specsavers Drogheda.

‘ This is thanks to a fantastic team – all of whom get on so well together. The store partners really get behind and support the idea of ongoing education and I feel this learning culture has really motivated me throughout my career at the store.’
