Cummins the special guest at senior final

SPECIAL guest at last Sunday’s senior final day was Brendan Cummins, a long serving Meath GAA official who recently retired as Head of Sport at LMFM Radio.

Brendan, from the Dunsany club, has served on county committees for 30 years, including 20 as county PRO and he is presently a Leinster Council representa­tive.

He performed the ceremonial throw-in before the senior final, after being introduced to both teams.

Then at half-time during the senior final Brendan was MC as the Meath squad that brought the Sam Maguire Cup to the county for only the third time 50 years ago in 1967 were introduced to the crowd.
