FAI CUP FINAL, RTE2, SUNDAY 3.15PM

-

The big two of the domestic scene in Irish football over the last three seasons, renew their rivalry in the Aviva Stadium for the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup.

This is the third time in consecutive seasons that the two have met in the final and both have one success to boast of.

For the third year in succession, the League and Cup double is also on the line, with Dundalk beating the Leesiders in 2015 to clinch the double, while last year John Caulfield’s side denied Dundalk the double double.

This time around it is Cork going for the League and Cup double having wrestled the league crown away from Stephen Kenny’s side.

Dundalk however are chasing a cup double, having won the EA Sports Cup already this season.
