Glen building safety fears

ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour is sparking fears about the safety of young people who are gaining unauthorised access at the derelict Glen Stores at the entrance to the Newfield estate. Young people have been spotted climbing out of the broken windows on the top of the building.

A number of fires have also been reported at the scene with the fire service on site last week. It is also feared the floor inside the building is in a dangrous state. Local residents want the building secured and upstairs windows made safe.
