Drogheda Bridge congress was a major success

DROGHEDA & District Bridge Congress held their 24th annual Congress in October in the Westcourt Hotel and the Barbican Centre.

National President Of C.B.A.I. Jim O’Sullivan along with Mayor Pio Smyth President Elect Heather Kilkelly and Regional President Phil Geoghegan opened the event.

Players travelled from all over Ireland and most went shopping and touring around the historic town of Drogheda in their spare time.

‘Our grateful thanks to our generous sponsors, media , press bridge players and friends Westcourt Hotel and the Barbican Centre for their help and kindness throughout the year,’ a spokesperson stated.

‘Players and friends had a wounderful week-end and the gala dance on Saturday Night. The National President C.B.A.I. Jim O’Sullivan closed the Congress along with a speech From Our own President Dr. Frank Davey.’
