North East forestry group hold agm
NORTH East Forestry Group, the representative group for forestry owners across Louth and Meath, will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 8th November 2017 at 7.30pm (sharp) in the Teasgasc Office, Kells Road, Navan, Co Meath.
The group, currently consists of 62 forest owners across Louth and Meath, and is seeking new members.
Upcoming events for new year will be announced along with a number of new initiatives in forest management.
Members of the group will report on the progress made in implementing the first Forest Certification Pilot Project in the country, whereby members comply with a number of quality and environmental standards.
Chartered accountant Declan McEvoy from IFAC Accountants will outline key developments in the taxation of Irish forestry, as well as a number of other topics including transferring land to the next generation.
