Jimmy’s solution to greenway issue
NO BETTER man than Jimmy Duffy to come up with a few good suggestions,
The latest surrounds the starting and ending point of the proposed greenway from Drogheda to Mornington (right).
Jimmy asks could the project not start at the former driving range and perhaps incorporate a museum and whatever into the whole project.
The nearby markers in the Boyne were of course associated with the famous Captain Bligh of Mutiny on the Bounty fame.
He says with the great amount of history - from fishing to the villages of Donacarney and Mornington, etc - throw in the Tara Brooch - there is ample scope for both national and international attention.
He says it would also sort out any issue with the flora and fauna and would also cater for parking and cyclists.
