DULEEK WOMENS FORUM
21 ladies had a great day out last week to Slane Castle and Distillery. The tour of the Distillery was very interesting, it is amazing to see the work that went in to restoring the old building.It is a great asset to the area.
Refreshments were then served in the restaurant, followed by a tour of the castle which is steeped in history. There was a tremendous amount of work done to restore the part of the Castle that was destroyed by fire some years ago. It is great to see the Castle back in every day use and we would recommend everyone to visit!

Duleek I C A would like to congratulate their President on her recent award from the Irish Cancer Society they recognized her work and dedication in a ceremony in Dublin recently which was attended by members of her proud family ,her award was for 30 years’ service and was praised for raising thousands of euros over those 30 years

Duleek Senior Citizen’s Outings Committee are holding their 3rd and final fundraising Auction on Sunday 12th November at 3pm (viewing from 2pm) in the Parish Centre, Duleek. There are over 120 lots to be sold with no reserve on most lots. Items include household goods, electrical goods, new and used toys, bikes, trikes, bric-a-brac.

DULEEK DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION
Duleek Development Association annual fundraising will start with a Church Gate Collection on Saturday and Sunday 2nd & 3rd of December in Duleek and Bellewstown Churches. Tickets are on sale for our Christmas raffle at €2 each or 3 for €5 in the Community Shop or from any committee member. The draw will take place at our annual Table Quiz which will be held in the Courthouse Duleek on Friday 15th December.

The Tony Coleman Fundraiser will take place on Friday 17th of November in The Greyhound Bar, Duleek. Raffle tickets are available with over 65 prizes to be won at €2 each or a book of 6 for €10. Social night tickets with music by Groggie Mac & friends cost €10. Tickets are available in the Community Advice & Support Clinic at Unit 5 The Maudlins, Duleek.

DULEEK BELLEWSTOWN AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY FACILITY OSKARS 2017
The Oskars 2017 Committee, are happy to announce that the Oskars 2017 event raised €42,340. This amount, less a donation to Duleek Meals & Wheels, will go directly to the Building Fund for the Duleek, Bellewstown & District Community Facility. The donation to Meals & Wheels was chosen as it supports two of the pillars of the Community Facility’s structure and constitution, that of ‘Community’ and care of ‘the Aged’. The Duleek, Bellewstown & District Community Facility Management Committee would like to sincerely thank all those involved in what was a truly community effort and event. We would also like to remind you that the Oskars 2017 DVD will be launched on 24 Nov 2017 in the Greyhound Bar, Duleek at 8pm.
