Barbara is off to Texas
LEAVING Dublin Airport to-day (Thursday) is Miss Barbara Collins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Collins, Greenacres, Baltray, who is taking up a teaching post in the U.S.
Miss Collins, who received her early education at St. Philomena’s, Drogheda, and Our Lady School, Rathncw, Co. Wicklow, later went to the Dominican Convent, Sion Hill, where she studied the Montessori Method.
After a three-day stay in New York, with friends, Miss Collins is going to San Antonio, Texas, to join the Institute for the Achievement of the Human Potential where she will be engaged in teaching brain-damaged children.
