GO ON MARITA!

Termonfeck­in Macra would like to wish Marita Bayly the best of luck in the Queen of the Land and they will be down supporting her with posters and banners flying high. ST. FECHIN’S EVENTS

A 5-aside Tournament will take place on the all-weather pitches at St Feichin’s GAA club, Beaulieu on the weekend of November 18th and 19th in aid of Termonfeck­in’s new Community Centre. The entry fee is €100 and the top prize for the winning team is €1,000. The Runner-Up team receives €500. The tournament is limited to 40 teams and already there is strong interest in signing up. Teams should comprise of 5 players and 2 subs. A Parish Auction will take place in early December in aid of the Lip Synch Battle which takes place in City North Hotel over the Christmas holidays. ST. FECHINS LOTTO

The numbers drawn were 17, 19, 21 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. The €100 winner was Isabelle Winters. Winners of €20 were Nailer, Peter, Evan and Eoghan, Oliver Tully, Rhona Mc Auley and Olive Sheridan. The jackpot this week is worth €1,600 and is sponsored by Madden’s Centra, Termonfeck­in.

SET DANCING.

Set Dancing takes place in Sandpit Hall on Thursday nights at 8.30pm. Plenty of enjoyment guaranteed and as well as learning the steps, it helps with keeping fit.

SEAPOINT PITCH & PUTT.

The results of Week 5, an 18 Nett, of the Turkey Competitio­n are as follows. Senior-1st: Gerry Breen Snr. 43, 2nd: Gerry Breen Jnr. 44. Inter-1st: Anto Mullen 40, 2nd: Tommy Lynch 41. Junior-1st: Nicky McCann 39, 2nd: Pat McGahon 40 (ob9 19). LadiesChri­stine Carroll 41, 2nd: Marlo Everitt 43 (ob9 20½). Over the weekend, Week 6 of the Turkeys Competitio­n took place which was an 18 Gross.

ADORATION.

Eucharisti­c Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.

First Confession/Confirmati­on. Meetings for Parents whose children will recieve the Sacraments of First Confession/First Communion and Confirmati­on take place this Thursday evening November 9th in Scoil Mhuire gan Smal. The meeting for First Confession/First Communion is at 7pm and will be followed by the Confirmati­on meeting at 8pm. The guest speaker for both meetings is Fr. Barry Matthews.

PASTORAL COUNCIL

A meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council will be held in the Parochial House this Wednesday November 8th at 7.30pm. All members are asked to attend.

NOVEMBER ROSARY.

The Rosary is being prayed on Sundays during November for our beloved dead in both Parish Cemeteries. Next Sunday November 12th, the Rosary will be prayed in Holy Cross Cemetery at 3pm.

November Mass for the Dead. The Parish Pastoral Council has organised a special Mass in memory of our beloved dead which will be held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Friday November 24th at 7.30pm. The Mass will be followed by refreshmen­ts in Scoil Naomh Feichin.
