Big Italian night in Collon for the Gary Kelly Cancer Centre
A very successful Italian Party Night was held in Watters in Collon as a fundraiser for the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre.
Organiser Mary Fitzsimons said it was a “fantastic night with everyone turning up dressed appropriately for the occasion. Everyone looked really well in their Italian outfits and everybody enjoyed the night. This is our 5th annual fundraiser night and please God we look forward to next years event”.
A cheque for €5,265 was presented to Ann Tracy in the Gary Kelly Centre by Mary and David Fitzsimons and their son Ross.
Mary would like to thank everyone who bought tickets or supported her in any way. Special thanks to Alan, Lisa and staff of Watters, to all who sponsored / sourced prizes and others for generous donations. Thanks to Omega Signs for sponsoring the tickets and posters. Also thanks to everyone who helped sell tickets over the past few weeks and sell raffle tickets on the night. To Ciara Finegan for her wonderful music that had everyone dancing away.
