Cobblelock works are ongoing

WE can give out about the council on occasions - as they are a pretty easy target - but credit to the crew working on the cobblelocking on Dyer Street (right)

All around town, the cobblelock seems to be shattering and it got very bad in this location.

A couple of weeks ago, they began repairs and they continued last week.

It’s a tough job slotting those stones in. If they really want to tackle another major job - and have the time - the footpath on William Street on the shopping centre side - has a similar problem with loose cobblelock.
