Two-way tie as Sally are joined by Greyhound
GREYHOUND have rejoined Sally Inn at the Fosters Duleek & District League Premier Division summit after the fourth round of fixtures were played on Friday last.
Sally had to settle for a share of the spoils away to Lantern Bar and Greyhound took advantage as they were comprehensive winners at second-bottom Thatch.
Division 1 continues to be a fiercely competitive league, with the two bottom teams prior to the start of play - Hill Bar and Morning Star - both winning, the latter impressively against leaders Matthews.
Second-placed Boyne Valley could only draw at Cottage Inn and that allowed Maguires to join them at the top of the table after a big away success against Carranstown B.
Thatch C are already looking unstoppable in Division 2 after their latest big win - over nearest rivals Foxs - extended their 100% start to the season. Lynchs now moving up to second place after their victory at Fair Green.
Railway Bar head the standings in Division 3 after their away win over another of the top sides, Barney Macs, although the leaders have played a game more than some of their nearest rivals.
