Senior Golfer of the Year Raymond Kelly has added the Singles matchplay title to his long list achievements in what has been a tremendous year. Raymond had to pull out all the stops as he held off the determined challenge of the Seniors main man Frank Ryan in a high class final that was decided on the very last green. Raymond was 2 up after 13 put found himself all square playing the last hole. Unfortunately Frank saw his hopes of the title sink before his eyes as his ball found a watery grave up the Par 5 finishing hole.

The third round of the Seniors league saw another Raymond come to the fore as Raymond McCumiskey finished ahead of John Joe. Round four of the League will take place next Thursday at 10am.
