YOUNG AT HEART CHRISTMAS DINNER

Kathleen Gough, of Goughs` Corner in Stamullen village, has informed me that the annual Christmas Dinner Party for the Young at Heart in the Stamullen area and indeed beyond, will take place in Whytes of Stamullen on Friday night December 8th.

Kathleen has been the main organiser for this annual event for many years now and with the help of her husband Ray a magnificent Christmas Dinner and a great-craic party is always assured for the senior citizens of the parish and surrounds.

However, with such organising and preparation having to be undertaken weeks and months beforehand, Kathleen cannot stress enough about the importance of people pre-booking their place.

She is asking those who wish to attend to please call to her at Goughs` Corner and let her know that they wish to attend.

This is a vital and important part of the preparation for the Dinner-party, as she needs to know how many will attend the event so that the night of December 8th can run freely and without a hitch. So, all those who are hoping to attend are being asked to please call and place your name with Kathleen, or have a family member do it for you!

HEALING SERVICE

Paul Barfett will host a Healing Service in St. Patrick`s Parish Centre in Stamullen Village on Saturday November 25th next from around 7pm. If you are seeking any help whether it is emotional, spiritual, physical etc. all are more than welcome to attend this Service.

GORMANSTON COLLEGE CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Parents Association at Gormanston College will host their first ever Christmas Fair this coming Saturday, November 18th from 1 until around 4pm at the college.

Lots of fun, games and craic on the day with local crafts, food, cakes. Books and local produce, etc. etc.
