Sadness at death of ‘Bebo’ Mohan

-

MAUREEN Mohan née Coffey: known as Bebo, returned to Drogheda from London for burial at Calvary on 1 November: All Saints Day. Granddaughter of the late, great, legendary Jack “Sandman” Carvin, and loving wife of Malachy Mohan of Curry’s Hill, Bebo was fun loving, mischievous and adventurous: her laughter lifted the soul and brightened each day of her 93 years.

She died leaving so much of herself with those who loved her. That she comforts us even now. We can’t but continue to see the beauty in life, that she shared with us: she is woven into our souls and our love for her is eternal. She was the best mother and friend

Special thanks to Father Phil Gaffney of Saint Mary’s: Paddy, Patricia and Angela Towney: and Noel Rath for making everything possible.
