Lucky Louth €2 bet scoops an amazing €33,000 lotto win

A lucky Louth bet of just €2 netted an amazing €33,000 for one delighted local last week.

A County Louth punter had a Tuesday to remember when their lucky lotto numbers saw them hit BoyleSports for over €33,000.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a tiny €1 bet on the four numbers, 2, 10, 14 and 28 and another €1 bet of the two numbers, 2 and 10 to be drawn in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Main Draw.

The four numbers returned the most profitable part of the winnings with a €33,001 return.

The two numbers returned €101 bringing their total windfall up to €33,102 for their €2 stake.

Had the profitable punter chosen to do their lucky numbers with their local news agents they would have walked away with a combined total of €44, €40 for four numbers and €4 for two numbers.
