THE annual 24 Hour Roller Cycle event held by Navan Road Club will take place this year from 12 noon on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December at Foleys Arch, Watergate St, Navan.

The event will once again be in aid of the ARC Cancer Support Centre. Support for this event would be greatly appreciated.

Club member Patsy Fitzsimons will once again be the first cyclist to take to the rollers at the 24 Hour and will be followed by good friends of the club.

The event will be officially started by Graham Macken who this year teamed up with Declan Brassil and finished the Race across America, considered the world’s toughest bike race.

Over the years this popular event has raised substantial funds for ARC.

The centre provides a range of professional therapy services of men and women affected from cancer regardless of where they live. ARC also offers a warm and caring environment to all individuals and their services are free of charge.

The club thanks Noel and Mary Foley, The Lantern Bar, Navan Cycle Centre and its main sponsors Teach an Teamhrach
