FECHINS GREAT FOR A FLEADH CAMPING SITE

THERE has been good discussions in the background in relation to the hosting of the Fleadh and the whole process should take a mighty step forward as we hit 2018.

Various plans and submissions dating back five years now have to be upgraded and chatting to members of the committee recently, they confirmed that instead of say two to three camp sites, they’ll be looking at one facility - saves a lot of issues in relation to facilities.

They have been on the lookout for an ideal spot to take thousands of campers and I certainly hope they took a drive down to the St Fechins facility at Beaulieu (below).

The place is always immaculate and they have a huge site there.

With the excellent car park, they can accommodate the crowds - the only problem is will they have matches on that week?

A park and ride with shuttle buses has huge potential for something like this.
