Duleek Street bollards at garage

IF Laytown/Bettystown councillor Tom Kelly sees these bollards up on Duleek Street, he’ll want some too (right).

Tom has been fighting a case with Meath CC for some time in relation to the hazard that exists outside garages.

He says are constantly parking on the road outside them, meaning people exiting can’t see cars coming and there are real fears of a major accident. The reply he got back from the council states that parking outside garages is illegal.

Up on Duleek Street, these bollards have been placed outside the garage and it has made the place much safer - for both road users and pedestrians.

Well done the council.
